I have tried the -rearm script at least once, but the “Reinstall Windows Now” license expired banner still appears after restarting. Going to try another rearm, and see what the script says afterwards. One thing that you could try is to boot the server in LKGC last known good configuration and that should allow you to log in to do the rearm.

I had the same experience with a Win7 machine and this worked pretty well. Oh, I can still logon to the server PC without any issues. It’s just that the activation has expired, and the server keeps restarting every 2 hours.

I think the root cause of the problem is that this server is using the R2 Preview build from back in October. I think I need to find some way of having this older Preview version catch an extension, or find out if there really is a kill switch date build into this Preview build.
