It was easy with my 8-yr old version of Word just go to insert – page and scroll down through a long list of options for presenting page number. There are much fewer options on the scroll down. PowerPoint and Excel have an ink selection tool, Lasso Select, specifically for selecting ink drawings. To select part of a drawing or words written in ink in PowerPoint or Excel, use the Lasso Select tool.

In PowerPoint, you can choose from three erasers—a stroke eraser, or a small or medium eraser. Some active pens, such as the Surface pen, have an eraser that you can also use to erase digital ink without having to select an eraser from the Ribbon.
